Tiffany Wiley, Paralegal
I was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, a west suburb of Chicago. I attended Illinois State University and received a B.A. in International Business, with all intentions of going to law school. It was after attaining my undergrad degree that my life took its first big turn. I made the decision to not endure another Chicago winter, and moved to Florida. I knew two people in the state, a friend from college in Orlando and a cousin studying at UF in Gainesville. I chose Orlando, and took a job working for Disney in the Magic Kingdom. Law school would have to wait.
I made Orlando my home. I have two wonderful children, and I was very involved with them in elementary school. I volunteered in the classroom, went on field trips, was the ADDitions Coordinator, and helped with school pictures and the yearbook. As my kids got older, I dabbled in other careers (I got my real estate license and sold homes for a while), but I was missing the passion and love for my work.
My life then took its second big turn. I found myself needing a job, but I wanted a career. Determined to have both, I returned to my earlier passion and went back to school. Law school still wasn’t in the cards, but the next best thing was … an A.A. in paralegal studies. I finished my degree in record time, and two months after graduation my determination paid off and I began a new chapter in my life as a paralegal.
As a single mom, I wear a lot of hats. I have learned how to juggle, referee and negotiate with teenage kids. I have learned how to listen to my inner voice and trust what it is saying. I have found there is no obstacle that cannot be overcome. And when I am not overcoming obstacles or wearing my “supermom” cape, I love spending time on the golf course with the best teacher/caddie ever!
I enjoy my work, and look forward to the opportunity to help our clients find their inner confidence, overcome their obstacles, and attain their goals.
